I am Kyle Macey, a board-certified orthopedic specialist and Doctor of Physical Therapy. Additionally, I hold certification as a strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I am part of a sports medicine organization that serves numerous high schools, colleges, and professional teams in the Bay Area, including San Jose State and the San Jose Sharks. My personal athletic journey comprised several years of competitive baseball, beginning during my time at Francis High School and continuing for two years at UC Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, my baseball career was cut short due to multiple injuries. These experiences ultimately led me to pursue a career as a physical therapist. Leveraging this background, my professional focus now centers on clinical rehabilitation and injury prevention for baseball athletes. With a blend of personal and clinical expertise, I strive to provide the highest quality, individualized care to my athletes, enabling them to return to the field feeling and performing better than ever before."
I absolutely loved going here. I had Tommy John surgery, and I have been going here ever since. Lianna has so much knowledge about what’s going on and has helped me every step of the way. This is the best my elbow has ever felt in my baseball career. In the future, if I ever need physical therapy again, I will becoming back. 10/10 would recommend going here if you need physical therapy.

I look forward to each session because I know and feel my recovery in a very real way. Unlike other PT clinics, MHOST is all 1:1 so you get the therapist’s full attention and that makes a huge difference in understanding and adjusting your recovery according to the nuances of your particular body. Both Lianna and Megan are genuine, lovely, and hilarious, and this makes it really easy to trust and communicate freely which I believe is a huge factor in recovery. Hands down - best PT experience I’ve ever had.
